this quote means that when we choose the wrong it wouldn't be taken as if we chose the right because we actually chose the wrong. then when you choose the right we cant be blamed for choosing the wrong because even if we have to stand alone to prove that something is right well then we will face the obstacles because we wanna do whats right. a good example of this point of view is say someone needs help like say tutoring for example well if we would wanna help them on school work or something well then thats choosing the right because your helping someone it isn't doing anything at all wrong. a bad example of this point of view is if we tutor someone but all were actually doing is staying off task, talking too much and just not doing work is a way of showing how to behave badly and it will fail the person that needed help. so basically all this quote is just trying to show you is that choosing the right isn't bad just choosing the wrong is, so just choose the right.
