Health educators teach people about behaviors that
promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of
individuals and communities. They collect and analyze data to identify
community needs prior to planning implementing, monitoring, and evaluating
programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and environments. They
also develop social marketing and media campaigns.
Salary:

educators make about $41,830 annually.
Education:
Health educators
need to have a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the CHES credential. Requirements
for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high
school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some
states have certification programs for community health workers.
Reflection:
No I would not want to be one because as I said
before I am focused on another career that is much better and will make me
happy in life.
